Eating is a necessity. Eating well is an art.

DAWAT INDIAN RESTAURANT

Traditional North Indian cuisine with influences from Tibet and Burma.

Indian cuisine has always been a staple in the Parco Sempione area, but in September 2013, a major aesthetic and management renovation revolutionized the premises at Corso Sempione 88. Dawat Indian Restaurant was born from the change of management of the previous Indian restaurant and, while continuing to offer special lunch menus, has expanded its offerings with a completely new evening menu.

Perfect for a business lunch, the energetic, lively, and cheerful atmosphere of Dawat Indian Restaurant transforms in the evening into a place with a refined and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a pleasant evening.

Consisting of two dining rooms and a bar, Dawat Indian Restaurant offers its customers a completely renovated, welcoming, and intimate atmosphere, decorated with a blend of Indian liveliness and the simplicity of Western taste. The menu pays particular attention to vegan and celiac diners, who will find many dishes suitable for their needs, featuring naturally gluten-free ingredients.

Cousine

Our cuisine draws on the traditions of North India, with influences from both Tibet and Burma, while also meeting the tastes and expectations of Western customers. Dawat offers an eclectic menu that includes dishes based on meat, fish, vegetables, and rice, cooked both baked and stewed. Many of our recipes include the use of different combinations of spices, ranging from mild to very spicy, which form the basis of both curries and marinades for tandoori dishes.

To offer our customers a complete experience of Indian food culture, our menu includes all the traditional dishes and some lesser-known but no less delicious specialties. Indian cuisine is not only a pleasure for the palate but also a true panacea. The use of spices also benefits our health. Cinnamon is a powerful antiseptic, ginger aids digestion, but turmeric is the most important spice: its anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and antioxidant properties, traditionally known in Ayurvedic medicine, have recently been confirmed by numerous scientific studies. Furthermore, to meet the dietary needs of our vegetarian and celiac customers, our menus include many vegetable-based dishes and many others that are naturally gluten-free.
